Founded in 1943, the Peninsula Library & Historical Society serves the needs of the community through programming and providing library materials. A member of the Clevnet consortium since 2002, the Peninsula Library has repeatedly been recognized by Library Journal as a Star Library. In 1999, the Library opened a second facility in the Boston Township Hall building. The Cuyahoga Valley Historical Museum houses changing exhibits on the history of the Peninsula/Boston Township area, various artifacts related to the community’s history, and special exhibits on themes of local interest.
